FIFA World Cup 2022 – Brazil vs Switzerland, Group G, match preview, predicted lineups

Bra vs Sui
In the third game of Monday in FIFA World Cup 2022 Group G sees Brazil take on Switzerland

Brazil take on Switzerland on Monday in the third game of the day in FIFA World Cp Qatar 2022 Group G as the tournament moves ahead. Brazil go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 7:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Stadium 974, Rass Abou Aboud

Brazil were clinical in their 2-0 drubbing of Serbia to open Group G but will require similar efforts if they are to win the tournament. They will qualify if they win on Monday.

The Selecao have a rock solid defence evident from the first game and they have been attacking, all the ingredients of a quality side.

Manager Tite will use a 4-2-3-1 system against the Swiss.

On the other hand, Switzerland themselves will be pleased with they way they started off the World Cup campaign a 1-0 win over Cameroon. They need another win to qualify for the knockouts.

The Red Crosses will have to defend against the Brazilians and maybe hit them on the counter.

Boss Murat Yakin will probably have a 4-2-3-1 on Monday.

Team news and possible lineups

Switzerland are likely going to go with the same XI as in the previous game.

As for the Brazilians, Neymar and Danilo are both injured and won’t be available.

Brazil XI : Alisson, E. Milirao, T. Silva, Marquinhos, A. Sandro, Casemiro, Fred, Paqueta, Raphinha, Richarlison, Vinicius Jr.

Switzerland XI : Sommer, Widmer, Akanji, Elvedi, Rodriguez, Freuler, Xhaka. Sow, Shaqiri, Embolo, Vargas.

Prediction

There are no doubts in my mind that Brazil will e extreme favourites to win this one and they will give their all to qualify to the knockouts but Switzerland pose genuine threat. And due to this I believe it will be a close game in which Brazil may win 1-0.
