Brazil look for three points against Peru in 2019 Copa America as group stage comes to a close

Brazil vs Peru
Brazil will play Peru on Saturday in the final group game of 2019 Copa America
Brazil and Peru will go head to head on Saturday in 2019 Copa America group stage as both teams eye progression. Brazil go into this game as the favourites. Group stage ends here.

Kick-off : 4:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Corinthians Arena, Sao Paulo

Brazil after a disappointing 0-0 draw against Venezuela in their second group game of Copa America 2019 will now look forward to get a win under their belt moving forward. They will aim to top the group.

Peru won’t make it easy as the World Cup participants of last year have a better team which will give their best and hope to clinch a point from Brazil match. Brazil know it and hence they will have to come very attacking minded looking to capitalise on every single opportunity.

The Selecao will need to defend well as well but more importantly score and in plenty, so this is what they will look forward to.

On the other hand, Peru have had a fine tournament so far but I think Brazil will be a sterner test which they need to pass.

Drawing Venezuela and winning against Bolivia is good and so 4 points from a couple of games. I think they have chances of qualifying and they will give their absolute all against mighty Brazil giving a run for their money.

Brazil have a very good record against Peru and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Peru will likely play the same XI as in the previous game against Bolivia.

As for Brazil, Everton is available and will likely play.

Peru XI : Gallese, Advincula, Zambrano, Abram, Trauco, Yotun, Tapia, Polo, Farfan, Cueva, Guerrero.

Brazil XI : Alisson, Alves, Marquinhos, Silva, Luis, Casemiro, Arthur, Richarlison, Coutinho, Everton, Firmino.

Prediction

I expect Brazil to edge Peru in this game and they might win 2-0.
