Chelsea look for three points at home against Leicester City

Chelsea vs Leicester City
Chelsea will play Leicester City on Saturday in the Premier League
Chelsea are set to play Leicester City on Saturday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Blues go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 3:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Stamford Bridge, London

Chelsea are currently on 46 points from 22 games and trail table toppers Manchester City by 16 points. They know they need to keep winning games.

The Blues drew with the Gunners in the Premier League in the New Year. Also they played two goalless draws after that in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup against Norwich City and Arsenal respectively.

On the other hand, Leicester City are currently on just 30 points from 22 games. They too need to keep winning games to remain in the top half of the table. Although Chelsea away will be a sterner test for them.

So far Chelsea and Leicester City have played each other 110 times. Out of that the Blues have won 55 times while the Foxes have won 25 times, 30 other games have been a draw.

All in all it should be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Jamie Vardy, Christian Fuchs and Vicente Iborra are available for Leicester and might play Saturday’s game.

While Wes Morgan, Danny Simpson and Robert Huth are out injured.

As for Chelsea, they have no fresh injury concerns for the game.

Leicester City XI : Schmeichel, Amartey, Dragovic, Maguire, Fuchs, Mahrez, Ndidi, James, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso, Hazard, Pedro, Morata.

Prediction

While it’s not a given that Chelsea will win on Saturday, they certainly are the favorites. Although it should be a closely fought game between winners of the last two Premier League seasons. I think it will end 2-2.
