Chelsea look for three points away against West Brom

Chelsea vs West Brom
Chelsea will play West Brom on Saturday in the Premier League
Chelsea will play West Brom on Saturday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Blues go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 4:00 PM (Local)

Venue : The Hawthorns, West Bromwich

Chelsea are currently on 22 points in the league table and trail toppers Manchester City by 9 points. So they need to keep winning games to catch up City.

It won’t be a hard task to win at the Hawthorns as West Brom have been struggling in the league and have not won since August.

Tony Pulis have been questioned lately for his tactics as West Brom are on 10 points from 11 games. They need to improve quickly.

So far in the 137 matches played between the two teams so far Chelsea have had the upper hand. The Blues have won 60 games while West Brom have won 42 games, 35 games have ended in a draw.

All in all it should be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Craig Dawson and James Morrison remain sidelined for West Brom. But other than that they have no new injury concerns.

As for Chelsea, Gary Cahill is doubtful for Saturday’s game. While Victor Moses will not be available as due to a hamstring injury.

Antonio Rudiger and Willian are available and might be given a start against West Brom.

West Brom XI : Foster, Nyom, Hegazi, Evans, Gibbs, McClean, Krychowiak, Barry, Livermore, Phillips, Rondon.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Zappacosta, Fabregas, Kante, Alonso, Pedro, Morata, Hazard.

Prediction

Although it’s not a given that Chelsea will win on Saturday, they certainly are the favorites. I expect Chelsea to win this game without much troubles. The scoreline could be 2-1. The goalscorers could be Morata, Hazard and Livermore.
