Chelsea are all set to play Huddersfield on Tuesday night in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Blues go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Kirklees Stadium, Huddersfield

Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways after the shock loss against West Ham at the weekend.

Chelsea are now on 32 points from 16 games and now have a tall order to defend their title with Man City leading them by 14 points.

Antonio Conte said after the game that Chelsea’s Premier League title defense is now over, before adding it “never started”, as they lie in third place.

On the other hand, Huddersfield are on 18 points from 16 games as they won 2-0 against Brighton at the weekend.

So far Chelsea and Huddersfield have played each other 64 times. Out of that Chelsea have won 28 times while Huddersfield have won 27 times, nine other games have been a draw.

Team news and possible line-ups

Michael Hefele will be unavailable for Huddersfield for Tuesday’s game as he continues to recover from injury. While Phillip Billing and Jon Stankovic also remain sidelined.

Other than that, David Wagner has no fresh injury concerns.

As for Chelsea, David Luiz will be unavailable as due to injury. While Danny Drinkwater is available and might play.

Huddersfield XI : Lossl, Smith, Zanka, Schnidler, Lowe, Mooy, Hogg, Kachunga, Ince, Quaner, Mounie.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Moses, Fabregas, Kante, Bakayoko, Alonso, Hazard, Morata.

Prediction

While it’s not a given that Chelsea will win on Tuesday night, they certainly are the favorites. I expect them to get the job done and earn three points. The scoreline could be 3-1. The goalscorers might be Marcos Alonso, Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard for Chelsea and Tom Ince for Huddersfield.
