Chelsea look for three points away against Qarabag in the Champions League

Chelsea vs Qarabag
Chelsea will play Qarabag on Wednesday in the Champions League
Chelsea are set to play Qarabag on Tuesday in the Champions league as the season moves ahead. The Blues go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 9:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Baku Olympic Stadium, Baku

Chelsea are currently second in their group with seven points. They have played 4 games so far and have lost one and drawn one. So they will need to keep winning.

On the other hand, Qarabag are last in the group. They have just two points from 4 games. It is really tougher for them to qualify.

This will be these two teams second meeting. In the reverse fixture Chelsea routed Qarabag 6-0. So it will be a sterner test for the Azerbaijani outfit.

The Blues certainly will inch closer to qualifying for next round if they beat Qarabag. They will also be hoping that other results go their way.

Team news and possible line-ups

Pedro Henrique will not be available for Qarabag on Wednesday as due to suspension. While Dino Ndlovu will be available as his suspension is over.

As for Chelsea, David Luiz is doubtful for Wednesday’s clash. Whereas Victor Moses will not be available as due to a hamstring injury.

Also Michy Batshuayi and Charly Musonda remain sidelined.

Qarabag XI : Sehic, Medvedev, Huseynov, Sadiqov, Rzezniczak, Qarayev, Elyounoussi, Almeida, Michel, Guerrier, Ndlovu.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Kante, Alonso, Willian, Morata, Hazard.

Prediction

Any chances of an upset in this game are slim. I don’t expect Qarabag to trouble Chelsea much. I think this will be a one-sided game. I think Chelsea will come out comfortable winners. The scoreline could be 6-1. The goalscorers might be Alvaro Morata (2), Eden Hazard, Willian, Davide Zappacosta and Gary Cahill for the blues while Dino Ndlovu will be the solitary goalscorer for the hosts.
