Barcelona look for three points away against Juventus in the Champions League

Barcelona vs Juventus
Barcelona will play Juventus on Wednesday night in the Champions League
Barcelona are set to play Juventus on Wednesday night in the Champions League as the season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for three points.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Juventus Stadium, Turin

Barcelona are currently top of their group with ten points from 4 games. They will need to keep winning games to maintain their lead.

On the other hand, Juventus are second in the group with seven points from 4 games. They are desperately in need of a win over Barca if they are to top the group.

So far Barcelona and Juventus have played each other six times. Out of that Barca have won 2 times while Juve have won once, three games have ended in a draw.

In the reverse fixture Barcelona came out as comfortable winners. They won that game 3-0. But it should be a good game on Wednesday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Massimiliano Allegri has a full squad to choose from for Wednesday’s game. Gianluigi Buffon, Alex Sandro and Paulo Dybala make a return to the squad.

Blaise Matuidi seems to be their key man.

As for Barcelona, Ernesto Valverde has some injury concerns ahead of Wednesday’s clash versus Juventus.

Ousmane Dembele, Arda Turan, Javier Mascherano, Andre Gomes, Sergi Roberto and Rafinha all remain unavailable.

While Luis Suarez is available and might be their key man.

Juventus XI : Buffon, Lichsteiner, Barzagli, Chiellini, Sandro, Pjanic, Matuidi, Costa, Dybala, Mandzukic, Higuain.

Barcelona XI : Ter Stegen, Vidal, Pique, Umtiti, Alba, Iniesta, Paulinho, Busquets, Deulofeu, Suarez, Messi.

Prediction

While it’s not a given that Barcelona will win on Wednesday night, they certainly are the favorites. I expect Barcelona to win this game. The scoreline could be 2-0. The goalscorers might be Leo Messi and Luis Suarez.
