The Blues look for three points away against Everton

Chelsea vs Everton
Chelsea will play Everton on Saturday in the Premier League
Chelsea are set to play Everton on Saturday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Blues go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 12:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Goodison Park, Liverpool

Chelsea are currently on 38 points from 18 games. They trail table toppers Man City by 14 points. They know they need to keep winning games.

Chelsea defeated Southampton last weekend 1-0 and also won in midweek in the Football League Cup. They head to Liverpool with a positive frame of mind.

On the other hand, Everton are currently on just 25 points from 18 games. They know they need to keep winning games as well. It will be another sterner test for them on Saturday.

So far Chelsea and Everton have played each other 178 times. Out of that Chelsea have won on 72 occasions while the Toffees have won on 54 occasions, 52 other games have been a draw.

All in all it should be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Everton have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the Chelsea game. Although Yannick Bolasie, Ross Barkley, Ramiro Funes Mori, Seamus Coleman, Maarten Stekelenburg and Leighton Baines remain sidelined.

As for Chelsea, Charly Musonda and David Luiz both will not be available for the weekend game due to injury. While Alvaro Morata will also be not available as due to suspension.

Everton XI : Pickford, Kenny, Holgate, Williams, Martina, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Davies, Rooney, Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Moses, Kante, Bakayoko, Alonso, Willian, Hazard, Pedro.

Prediction

While it’s not a given that Chelsea will win on Saturday, they certainly are the favorites. I expect them to get the job done and earn three points. The scoreline could be 3-2 in favor of the Blues.
