Chelsea vs Huddersfield
Chelsea will play Huddersfield on Wednesday in the Premier League
Chelsea are set to play Huddersfield on Wednesday night in the Premier League at home in their penultimate game of the 2017/18 season. The Blues go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 7:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Stamford Bridge, London

Chelsea come into this game off a wonderful victory over Liverpool on Sunday. Olivier Giroud was the hero then as the Blues defeated the Reds 1-0. Chelsea will now be in a very positive frame of mind.

The Blues now face Huddersfield town and they will be eyeing victory as they aim for a top four finish. Chelsea can either finish above Tottenham Hotspur or Liverpool.

On the other hand, Huddersfield did tremendously well on Sunday against current Premier League champions Manchester City after holding them to a goalless draw in Manchester.

Huddersfield Town are currently not in the relegation zone as they have 36 points from 36 games but will look for positive results ahead to stay safe.

Chelsea are ahead on the head to head against Huddersfield as they lead 29-27. Both teams have played out 9 draws.

Team news and possible line-ups

Danny Wiliams and Elias Kachunga will both be not available for Huddersfield for the Wednesday night game as due to injury. While Jon Stankovic, Michael Hefele and Tom Ince are all doubtful.

As for Chelsea, Alvaro Morata is a doubtful. Whereas Ethan Ampadu and David Luiz remain sidelined.

Huddersfield XI : Lossl, Zanka, Schindler, Kongolo, Smith, Malone, Mooy, Hogg, Hadergjonaj, Mounie, Pritchard.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Rudiger, Moses, M. Alonso, Kante, Fabregas, Hazard, Willian, Giroud.

Prediction

Although it’s not a given that Chelsea will win on Wednesday night they certainly are the favorites. I expect them to get the job done and earn three points. I think they will win this game 3-0.
