Chelsea will play Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday in 2018/19 Premier League as the season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Stamford Bridge, London

Chelsea will be very disappointed after their loss in the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City. The loss will be even more harder to digest as it was after the penalty shootout. But nevertheless they will move ahead and focus on the Premier League.

The Blues are currently sixth in the points table after 26 games with 50 points. Against Tottenham Hotspur they will have to play their best football giving it everything.

Chelsea know finishing in the top four is what is needed. They play Fulham next in the Premier League.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur are in the title race and they will be after winning every game they can.

Spurs are at present third in the points table after 27 games with 60 points. They know they will have to play outstanding football against Chelsea away if they are to maintain their good run.

Chelsea have a good record against Tottenham Hotspur and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Dele Alli and Janssen will both be not available for Tottenham Hotspur for the Chelsea game as due to injuries.

As for The Blues, Marco van Ginkel will be unavailable as due to injury.

Tottenham Hotspur XI : Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Sissoko, Winks, Lucas Moura, Eriksen, Son, Kane.

Chelsea XI : Kepa, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, M. Kovacic, Willian, G. Higuain, E. Hazard.

Prediction

It should be a good game between two good teams. But I expect Chelsea to win in the end earning three important points. They might win 2-1.
