Brazil played out a 2-2 draw with Colombia on Friday in an international friendly as both teams failed to find out a winner. Colombia will be happier of the two teams.

The Selecao should be disappointed with the performance as Brazil are always favourites to dominate a football game while they didn’t played their best soccer.

Colombia should be very pleased with the efforts as they despite both teams away from home prevented Brazil well from scoring free goals. In fact hit Brazil well on the counter.

As in terms of the game this contest was always going to be a good one between two good teams. 2019 Copa America champions were to start off new.

So Brazil did not disappoint as they played with an attacking mentality to attack the Colombian defence but only found success through a Casemiro goal in the 19th minute of the game.

The success though was short-lived with Colombia equalising soon and in fact leading with the next fifteen minutes.

Luis Fernando Muriel Fruto was awarded a penalty in the 25th minute of the game soon after which he scored once more in the 34th minute.

Brazil now trailed as they were denied throughout the first half from Colombia. Referee then blew the half-time whistle. The managers had a lot to think about.

Time must have inspired his players during the break as after the break in the 2nd half players looked for that second goal which would have got them levelled.

Brazil were rewarded in the 58th minute through Neymar with him scoring and making Brazil back level with Colombia 2-2 in the game.

The whole rest half went with both teams searching for that high profile winner with none succeeding. So eventually we had a draw.

Good luck to both teams for future matches as they now play their next opponents soon namely Peru for Brazil and Venezuela for Colombia respectively.
