Brazil advance to Copa America 2019 final as Argentina disappoints

Brazil have progressed to the final of 2019 Copa America on their home soil as Argentina have been outplayed in Belo Horizonte.

They now look forward to achieving great success as they are only one step away and their fans will be feeling overjoyed given the calibre of the Brazil team.

As in terms of the game, their was very little to choose as most people predicted Brazil to advance from the fixture despite Argentina having maestro Messi. The recent record of Argentina is not good in major tournaments, they slip up.

It is what happened as per expectations that Argentina weren’t able to produce their brand of soccer by virtue of which Brazil dominated from the beginning.

Gabriel Jesus, Brazil’s Manchester City star was the hero as he put The Selecao in front in the 19th minute of the game with a good goal. And from here the rest is history as Argentina weren’t able to comeback in the match despite constant efforts to do so.

Casemiro was back for Brazil as he commanded the midfield along with heavyweights Coutinho and Firmino. Aguero had a bad day in office for La Albiceleste as their star men looked out of sorts.

Their were expectations from Lionel Messi but he didn’t performed to his usual best, nether did he had the luck in the game throughout as he hit the woodwork. Must have been tough for him.

A 71st minute Roberto Firmino brace sealed the deal for fancied, tournament favourites Brazil as they headed to the Maracana.

All done and dusted, Argentina can now look from here on to build a squad that do well in tournaments and not only do well but perhaps win it. They can only grow is all I can say.

For the Brazilians it’s party time as they await their final opponent which might be either Chile or Peru, two other good sides in football.
