Arsenal are set to play AC Milan on Thursday night in the Europa League 2nd leg of the round of 16 tie. Arsenal go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 8:05 PM (Local)

Venue : Emirates Stadium, London

The Gunners are well placed to advance to the next round after a fine display in Milan last week. They came out on top, winning 2-0 in the first leg.

AC Milan will have to score at least twice to cancel out the away goal advantage of Arsenal. While Arsenal will progress easily even if it’s a goalless draw.

Arsenal are struggling domestically at the moment as they are languishing on sixth spot in the Premier League. They know they can’t qualify for the Champions League next season directly. It means that winning the Europa League is their only realistic chance.

On the other hand, AC Milan themselves are struggling domestically in the Serie A. They too are eager for success on the continental level at the moment.

Arsenal by the way are ahead against AC Milan on the head to head. The Gunners have won thrice and lost only once out of the six games played between the two so far.

Team news and possible line-ups

Andrea Conti remains sidelined for AC Milan ahead of the crucial midweek game.

As for Arsenal, Alexandre Lacazette will not be available as due to injury.

AC Milan XI : Donnarumma, Romagnoli, Gomez, Zapata, Bonucci, Mauri, Bonaventura, Montolivo, Biglia, Suso, Silva.

Arsenal XI : Ospina, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Bellerin, Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Wilshere, Ozil, Iwobi, Welbeck.

Prediction

Arsenal have the home advantage plus a two goal cushion, it means that the tie is theirs to loose. I expect the Gunners to get the job done.
