Arsenal will play Valencia on Thursday in UEFA Europa League 2018/19 semi-final second leg as the season nears it’s completion. The Gunners go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 9:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Mestalla Stadium, Valencia

Arsenal after a thrilling victory against Valencia in the first leg will be full in confidence going forward to play them in the second leg. Arsenal should play their brand of soccer.

The Gunners know it will be pretty tough to play in Spain and Valencia are a tough team. Though Arsenal will need to score an away goal and they will be in benefits.

It will put pressure on Valencia who need to net at least two already.

On the other hand, Valencia are in all sorts of trouble after loosing to Arsenal big in London. They will need to play quality football to recover.

The Spanish club should do all they can at home to not concede and score the minimum of two goals to proceed. It should be a good contest.

Arsenal have a poor record against Valencia and they would like to improve upon the fact.

Team news and possible line-ups

Denis Cheryshev and Geoffrey Kondogbia will both be not available for Valencia for the Arsenal game as due to injuries.

As for The Gunners, Hector Bellerin, Denis Suarez, Rob Holding, Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck will all be unavailable as due to injuries.

Valencia XI : Neto, Piccini, Garay, Diakhaby, Gaya, C. Soler, Coquelin, Parejo, Guedes, Rodrigo, S. Mina.

Arsenal XI : Cech, Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal, Maitland-Niles, Torreira, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Mkhitaryan, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Prediction

It should be a tough game between sides who are good footballing sides. I feel this game will end in a 2-2 draw. So Arsenal to reach the European final which they must win for their Champions League prospects.
