Arsenal host Manchester United on Saturday in the Premier League

Arsenal and Manchester United go head to head in a crucial match at the weekend as the season nears it’s conclusion. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Kick-off : 12:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Emirates Stadium, London

Arsenal are aiming for a top four finish to their season’s campaign. For that they will need to keep winning plus the other results go their way.

The Gunners are currently fifth in the points table after 32 games with 57 points. They are equalled with rivals Spurs only separated by goal difference.

Arsenal manager will most likely use the 4-2-3-1 system against United with emphasis on keeping a clean sheet. They will be boasted by the Chelsea win.

On the other hand, Manchester United are not having a great campaign this season despite having Cristiano Ronaldo at their side and are struggling. Their top four hopes are in jeopardy.

The Red Devils are at present sixth in the points table after 33 games with 54 points. Trailing Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur by three, having played a game more.

Boss Ralf Rangnick will likely use the 3-4-2-1 formation against rivals Arsenal. They will need to be solid at the back while creative in front of goal. Heavy defeat against Liverpool will not be morale boosting.

Team news and possible lineups

Thomas Partey & Kieran Tierney are the most notable absentees for Gunners in the match.

As for United, Scott McTominay is available and he will likely play.

Arsenal XI : Ramsdale, White, Holding, Gabriel, Tavares, Xhaka, Elneny, Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Nketiah.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Lindelof, Telles, Matic, McTominay, Elanga, Fernandes, Sancho, Ronaldo.

Prediction

In my opinion after both teams recent performances and the battle for the top four spot, this game should be tight although I expect maybe Arsenal to come out on top. A 2-1 for Arsenal.
