United look for three points as they host Spurs

United vs Spurs
Manchester United will play Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in the Premier League
Man United are set to play Tottenham on Saturday in the Premier League as the new season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for three points.

Kick-off : 11:30 AM (Local)

Venue : Old Trafford, Stretford

Tottenham beat Liverpool convincingly last weekend but were humbled by West Ham in the EFL Cup in midweek. It will now be a sterner test for them against United.

Both teams are at the moment level on points in the table. If it will be a draw on Saturday then City will probably have a seven points lead at the top.

If Spurs win tomorrow, it will only be their third win ever at Old Trafford. But they know United are extremely tough to beat at home.

So it will be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Victor Wanyama and Erik Lamela will not be available for Tottenham on Saturday as due to injuries.

While Mousa Dembele is available and will likely be given a start tomorrow. Danny Rose is also available and Pochettino might be tempted to play him.

As for Man United, they have some injury worries to look upon. Paul Pogba, Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini all remain sidelined.

While Marcus Rashford and Eric Bailly are doubtful for tomorrow’s game against Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur XI : Lloris, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Trippier, Dembele, Dier, Davies, Eriksen, Dele, Kane.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Darmian, Blind, Matic, Young, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Lukaku.

Prediction

While it is not a given that Man United will win this game but they certainly start as favorites especially playing at home. But I expect this to be a tightly contested game which will go to the end. I think it will end 2-2.
