Chelsea are set to play Watford on Wednesday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Blues go into this game as the favourites.

Chelsea after suffering a setback defeat against Leicester City at the past weekend will be hoping of revival moving ahead. They are having a pretty much OK 2018/19 Premier League at the midway stage.

The Blues are at the moment fourth in the points table after 18 games with 37 points. Against Watford they will be looking to play their best football and in the process earning three points.

The Blues have their next three games against Crystal Palace, Southampton and Nottingham Forest respectively across the Premier League and FA Cup respectively.

On the other hand, Watford are having a good 2018/19 Premier League and will be looking forward to keep playing positive football ahead.

Watford are at the moment seventh in the points table after 18 games with 27 points. In Chelsea they have got high quality opponents against whom they will look to give their all and hope for the best.

Chelsea have a good record against Watford and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Darryl Janmaat and Sebastian Prodl are both doubtful for Watford for the Chelsea game.

As for The Blues, Alvaro Morata is doubtful.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all but I expect Chelsea in the end to get the job done and earn three points. They might win 3-1.
