Team India eye winning start to five match ODI series of Australia’s 2019 India tour

India vs Australia
India will play Australia on Saturday in the first ODI
India will play Australia in the first ODI tomorrow of Australia’s 2019 India tour. Both teams will be looking for a win.

Date and Time : 2nd March 2019, 1:30 PM IST

Venue : Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

India will be disappointed that they lost the T20I series badly but shouldn’t disappointed as much as five match series is their to play.

India didn’t bowl well in the 2nd T20I game and that’s what was the cause for the series loss. They now will be hoping to do everything to the best that they can so that the ODI series is won.

Batting and Bowling both needs to be executed perfectly.

On the other hand, Australia will be very happy with the performances in the T20I’s and will now be looking forward to one-day series.

Batting was good in the second game and they will hope that batters keep batting in the five games of the one-day ahead.

The Bowling was good in the first game and that’s a good sign that bowlers have the feel of conditions in India.

Australia will be hoping to create history and also play quality cricket.

India have a bad record against Australia in ODI’s and they will be hoping to improve upon that.

Team news and possible line-ups

Aaron Finch will captain Australia in the first ODI on Saturday.

As for India, Mohammed Shami is available and might play.

Australia XI : Finch (C), Khawaja, S. Marsh, Short, Handscomb, Stionis, Maxwell, J. Richardson, Cummins, Behrendorff, Zampa.

India XI : R. Sharma, Dhawan, Kohli, Rayudu, K. Jadhav, Dhoni, R. Jadeja, K. Yadav, Shami, Bumrah, Chahal.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all but in the end I expect India to get the job done and earn a win.
