Team India after their rollicking start to their Cricket World Cup 2019 campaign will now have their eyes set on yet another victory on Thursday when they take on unbeaten New Zealand.

India are at the moment 3rd in the points table after a couple of games with full four points. New Zealand are a classy outfit and if India look to get those two points against them then India will need to play quality cricket giving nothing to the Kiwis.

Batting was outstanding in the last game against Australia and they just need to carry forward with bowling and fielding on their improvement curve as ever.

On the other hand, New Zealand have had a fantastic start to their 2019 Cricket World Cup campaign after three wins from three games. They will look forward to playing beautiful cricket giving their all.

They are top of the table after 3 games with full six points. India are the next opponents and they will need to raise their game to match India in the the current form but they have the quality so should be a good contest.

India have a good record against New Zealand in ODI’s and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

New Zealand will likely play the same XI as in the previous game.

As for Team India, Shikhar Dhawan will not be unavailable for the midweek game as due to injury.

New Zealand XI : Guptill, Munro, K. Williamson (C), R. Taylor, T. Latham (WK), Neesham, C. de Grandhomme, Santner, M. Henry, L. Ferguson, T. Boult.

India XI : R. Sharma, KL Rahul, V. Kohli (C), Dhoni (WK), K. Jadhav, H. Pandya, D. Karthik, B. Kumar, Chahal, Bumrah, K. Yadav.

Prediction

India to win and match New Zealand on World Cup head to head.
