RCB vs CSK
Match no. 49 of IPL 2022 between RCB and CSK takes place today

Chennai Super Kings take on Royal Challengers Bangalore for the second time in Tata IPL 2022 as the season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Date & Time : 4th May 2022, 7:30 PM IST

Venue : MCA Stadium, Pune

Chennai Super Kings have not lived upto fans expectations and them qualifying for the playoffs looks a distant possibility, yet they would like to win games and finish on a high.

CSK are currently ninth in the points table after 9 matches with 6 points.

Chennai’s batting have not been bad and they will look up to it to set a firm target. While bowling wise they have some young talents come up especially Mukesh Choudhary and they will support their bowlers.

CSK have so far won against RCB, MI & SRH. They have lost to KKR, LSG, PBKS (2), SRH & GT.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore have been ok with their campaign but still they will not be content and will look to win all their games to be in solid contention for the playoffs.

RCB are currently sixth in the points table after 10 games with 10 points.

Bangalore batters have not been bad and almost every one of them have scored runs but a combined effort is needed. As a bowling unit Bangalore haven’t been bad either with bowlers amongst wickets but still combined effort is needed.

RCB have so far won against, KKR, RR, MI, DC & LSG. They have lost to PBKS, CSK, SRH, RR & GT.

In terms of the head to head, Chennai are far ahead compared to RCB having won 19 matches to 9. 29 matches have been played with a no-result.

As for the pitch, the batsman will get help with good bowlers reaping rewards.
