Tata IPL 2022 – MI vs RR, match preview, predicted lineups

MI vs RR
Match no. 9 of IPL 2022 between MI and RR takes place today

Mumbai Indians after a not so ideal start to their 2022 IPL campaign will look to churn out a win against a good Rajasthan Royals outfit. Both teams will go for a win here.

Date & Time : 2nd April 2022, 7:30 PM IST

Venue : Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai

RRajasthan Royals were clinical in their IPL 2022 opener as they did well in both departments, batting and bowling. They will look to carry on the same good work.

RR had all of their top order batters contribute, and they will expect similar from the batsman. In bowling they have some quality options.

Sanju Samson is proving to be a good captain and given time he can be pivotal for RR success.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians were good with their batting efforts, posting 170+ but the bowlers did not do their job. They will look to improve on that.

MI have a strong captain in Rohit Sharma and they must believe in him. He will eye a win here.

In terms of quality Mumbai are one of the best in this IPL and they will their brand of cricket.

Mumbai lead 13 matches to 11 of the RR with one game being a no-result head to head out of 25 games played.

The wicket will aid batters no doubt but bowlers if bowl well will be rewarded.
