Spain play Costa Rica in an International Friendly

Spain vs Costa Rica
Spain play Costa Rica on Saturday night in Malaga
Spain is all set to play Costa Rica in an International Friendly on Saturday. La Roja go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 9:30 PM (Local)

Venue : La Rosaleda Stadium, Malaga

Spain qualified easily for next year’s world cup and had to beat Italy for top spot. While Costa Rica also qualified for the world cup without much problems.

It will not be an easy game for Spain on Saturday night as Costa Rica are a good side and will make a game of this.

Spain will use this as a opportunity to figure out their winning combinations as they prepare for next year’s FIFA World Cup.

This match promises to see goals as both Spain and Costa Rica have been scoring in recent times.

The last time these to teams met it was won by Spain 2-1. So we can expect Spain to dominate this time around as well.

But it should be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Joel Campbell and Keylor Navas will not be available for Costa Rica as due to injuries. Other than that the Ticos will be at full strength.

As for Spain, Luis Alberto, Suso and Kepa Arrizabalaga have been called into the squad. While Alberto Moreno have also been called into the squad.

Koke, Pedro and Cesar Azpilicueta are not involved.

Costa Rica XI : Pemberton, G. Gonzalez, Gamboa, Oviedo, Salvatierra, Borges, Bolanos, Guzman, Venegas, Urena, B. Ruiz.

Spain XI : Reina, Ramos, Pique, Alba, Nacho, Iniesta, D. Silva, Busquets, Isco, A. Morata, Vitolo.

Prediction

While it’s not a given that Spain will win on Saturday night but they are certainly favorites for the game. I expect Spain to win this game by a margin of 2-1.
