Spain eye three points away against Faroe Islands in Euro 2020 Qualifiers

Spain vs Faroe Islands
Spain will play Faroe Islands on Friday in the European Qualifiers
Spain will play the Faroe Islands on Friday night in the European Qualifiers for the 2020 Euro as both teams eye for the places. La Furia Roja go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 7:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Torsvollur, Torshavn

Spain have had a fantastic start to their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign as they are on full six points after the two games. They have defeated Norway and Malta in their opening two games.

Spain will look to keep playing their brand of football throughout the qualification to top the group. Spain have a couple of games in the month of June to play against Faroe Islands and Sweden.

La Furia Roja will have their work cut out in Torshavn as minnows Faroe Islands will possess little threat to the might of Spain. They will just need to do enough to get the three full points.

On the other hand, The Faroe Islands as expected had a poor start to their qualification cycle and have found difficulties. They must keep on improving if they aim to compete against top class European oppositions.

Anyways Faroe Islands will need to get together and strategise with coach Lars Olsen to have the spirit of competing against Spain although the result is hardly going to be positive. Faroe Islands next play Norway on the 10th.

Spain have a good record against the Faroe Islands and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Atli Gregersen will captain Faroe Islands against Spain on Friday.

As for La Furia Roja, Sergio Ramos is available and will likely play.

Faroe Islands XI : Gestsson, Rolantsson, Gregersen, Faero, Davidsen, Joensen, B. Olsen, Hansson, Vatnsdal, Bartalsstovu, K. Olsen.

Spain XI : De Gea, Carvajal, Ramos, Hermoso, Alba, Parejo, Busquets, Isco, Rodrigo, Morata, Isco.

Prediction

I expect Spain to win here 3-0.
