Real Madrid look for three points at home against Deportivo

Real Madrid are currently fifth in the points table with just 32 points from 18 games. They trail rivals and table toppers Barcelona by 19 points, although with a game in hand. They know they need to keep having positive results if they hope to catch Barca.
Los Blancos lost to Villarreal last weekend in La Liga although won in midweek in Copa del Rey. They will need to lift themselves ahead of the Deportivo game.
On the other hand, Deportivo are 18th in the points table with just 16 points from 19 games and are lying in the relegation zone. They face another sterner test against Real Madrid away.
So far Real Madrid and Deportivo have played each other 46 times. Out of that Real Madrid have won 26 times while loosing 12 times, 8 other games have been a draw.
All in all it should be a good game on Sunday as both teams will give their all.

Raul Albentosa and Sidnei are doubtful for Deportivo ahead of the Sunday game. While Pedro Mosquera is available and will play against Los Blancos.
As for Real Madrid, Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos are unavailable for the weekend game.

While it’s not a given that Real Madrid will win on Sunday, they certainly are the favorites. I expect them to get the job done and earn three points. It might finish 3-0.
