Real Madrid eye win in the quarter-final 1st leg against Juventus

Real Madrid will play Juventus on Tuesday night in the Champions League
Real Madrid are set to play Juventus away on Tuesday night in the 1st leg of 2017/18 Champions League quarter-final. Both teams will be looking for a win.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Allianz Stadium, Turin

Real Madrid comfortably reached to the quarter-finals overcoming PSG in the round of 16. Los Blancos won 5-2 on aggregate with Ronaldo scoring three goals in total.

Real Madrid are also in good form at the moment having won five consecutive games across all competitions. They will like to carry the form ahead.

Madrid had tough time domestically this season and struggled in La Liga. They are at present 13 points off the pace of rivals and table toppers FC Barcelona. But will be extremely confident of success in Europe having won the Champions League for two consecutive seasons.

On the other hand, Juventus overcame a spirited Tottenham Hotspur in the round of 16 to reach the quarter-finals of the UCL. Juventus won 4-3 on aggregate.

Juventus will be eyeing revenge against Real Madrid for the defeat in the final of last season’s Champions League. Juventus are also in good form at the moment and are on top of the Serie A table.

Juve by the way lead the head to head against Real Madrid. They have won 6 of the 12 matches played between them thus far. While Madrid have won 4, 2 other games have been a draw.


Team news and possible line-ups

Alex Sandro and Federico Bernardeschi are both doubts for Juve ahead of the Tuesday night game.

As for Real Madrid, Nacho, Sergio Ramos and Isco are all doubtful.
