Manchester United play Stoke City away in the Premier League

United vs Stoke City
Manchester United play Stoke City on Saturday in the Premier League
Manchester United are set to play Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday. United go into this game as the favorites to get the three points.

Kick-off : 4:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Britannia Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent

Referee : Neil Swarbrick

The Red Devils will be looking to maintain their 100% record of winning in the current Premier League season as they take on the Potters.

In their last match before the international break, United played Leicester and won that match. They will be looking to continue the winning trend after the international break as well.

United have so far played three games and have nine points, they have scored 10 goals and have conceded none. They have set the pace in the early stages of the season.

But Stoke can’t be taken lightly as they have already toppled one title contender in Arsenal and will be looking to do the same against Manchester United.

It should be a good game on Saturday as both teams will try to outdo each other.

Team news and possible line-ups

Stoke Captain Ryan Shawcross will miss out Saturday’s game due to a back injury. While latest signing Kevin Wimmer could make his debut in absence of Shawcross.

Darren Fletcher is available and could play against United on Saturday. Although Winger Choupo-Moting is doubtful after straining his hamstring while on international duty for Cameroon.

As for Manchester United, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo both remain unavailable due to injuries.

Luke Shaw and Ashley Young have recovered from injuries and will be available for Saturday’s game.

Stoke City XI : Butland, Zouma, Martins Indi, Wimmer, Diouf, Fletcher, Allen, Pieters, Shaqiri, Jese, Berahino.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Jones, Blind, Pogba, Matic, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Lukaku.

Prediction

On current form I expect United to win 2-1 on Saturday.
