Manchester United look for a winning start to 2019/20 UEFA Europa League campaign as they host Astana

Manchester United will play Astana on Thursday in UEFA Europa League 2019/20 as the tournament begins. The Reds Devils go into this game as the favourites.

Manchester United are not in this year’s UEFA Champions League and they must be dissatisfied with the fact and want to prove a point in the UEFA Europa League.
The Red Devils will look to play their brand of football. They will be eager for success. The group contains the likes of AZ Alkamaar, Partizan and Astana. So a fairly straightforward one.
First up are Kazakhstani outfit Astana. It should be a fairly easy contest which should make United have a winning start to the campaign.
At home United shouldn’t have difficulties in taking up the three points. They will look to attack as much as they can.
On the other hand, Astana are fairly new to the European competitions and they will look to gain the invaluable experience.
Astana know Manchester United are leaders in their group followed by AZ Alkamaar. So playing United first up and away will be a hard task.
They will not be looking forward for that unexpected win but maybe a draw, if they can manage. For that they will need a good defensive line. Good luck to them.
