Manchester United will play Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday at the Wembley Stadium in FA Cup 2017/18 semi-finals. Both teams will be looking for a win.

Kick-off : 5:15 PM (Local)

Venue : Wembley Stadium, London

Man United reached this stage of the FA Cup after defeating Brighton in the quarter-finals last month. Lukaku and Matic were the two scorers in that game. But they know Spurs will be an altogether different prospect in the semi’s.

Manchester United defeated Bournemouth comfortably in midweek in the Premier League and they would wanna carry forward the winning process at the weekend.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur overcame Swansea City in the quarter-finals of this season’s FA Cup with a double from Christian Eriksen last month. They know they face difficult task ahead in the form of the Red Devils.

Tottenham played a disappointing draw against Brighton on Tuesday in the Premier League but it will be a new day and a new game is what they should be thinking going into the Saturday game.

Team news and possible line-ups

Danny Rose is doubtful for Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the crucial Manchester United game. While Kieran Trippier and Mousa Dembele are available and will likely play.

As for Man United, Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic are all available and will play tomorrow’s game.

Tottenham Hotspur XI : H. Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, M. Dembele, Lamela, Alli, Eriksen, Kane.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Young, Herrera, Matic, P. Pogba, Rashford, Lingard, Lukaku.

Prediction

I expect Manchester United to make it to the final of this season’s FA Cup. I think they will win this game 2-1. The goalscorers should be Lukaku and Rashford for United and Kane for Spurs.
