Manchester United will play Watford on Saturday in 2018/19 Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Red Devils go into this game as the favourites.

Manchester United are fighting for the fourth spot and for that they will need to play quality football. They still trail Spurs by three points.

The Red Devils are currently fifth in the points table after 30 games with 58 points. Against Watford they will have to play their best football and hence earn three points.

Manchester United have their next three games against Wolves, Barcelona and West Ham across the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League respectively.

On the other hand, Watford are doing well in 2018/19 Premier League and they will need to keep playing positive football moving ahead.

Watford are at the moment eighth in the points table after 30 games with 43 points. In United they have got higher quality opponents against whom Watford will have to give their all hoping for the best.

Man United have a good record against Watford and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Jose Holebas is doubtful for Watford for the Manchester United game.

As for The Red Devils, Matteo Darmian is available and might play.

Watford XI : Foster, Janmaat, Mariappa, Cathcart, Masina, Hughes, Capoue, Doucoure, Pereyra, Deeney, Deulofeu.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Martial, Rashford.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all. But in the end I expect The Red Devils to get the job done and earn three full points. They might win 4-1. The goalscorers might be Lingard, Martial, Rashford and Herrera for United and Deeney for Watford.
