Liverpool are set to play Huddersfield on Saturday in the Premier League as the new season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for three points.

Kick-off : 2:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Anfield, Liverpool

Huddersfield will be quite confident going into this game having beaten Manchester United last weekend. They will be hoping for back to back wins in the Premier League.

Liverpool on the other hand were humbled by Tottenham last weekend. They will now be keen on returning to winning ways.

In terms of the managers, both teams bosses are close friends. They played together in Germany and then Jurgen Klopp coached him at Borussia Dortmund.

All in all it promises to be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Elias Kachunga is a doubt for tomorrow’s game against Liverpool as due to injury. While Rajiv van Lan Parra is available and will play Saturday’s game.

Kasey Palmer, Collin Quaner and Philip Billing remains sidelined as due to their respective injuries.

As for Liverpool, Georginio Wijnaldum is doubtful for tomorrow’s game due to injury. While Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Sadio Mane all remain sidelined.

Dejan Lovren who had a game to forget against Spurs will likely miss out Saturday’s clash versus Huddersfield.

Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Alberto Moreno and Trent Alexander-Arnold will be the four defenders for the Reds.

Huddersfield XI : Lossl, Smith, Zanka, Schnidler, Lowe, Hogg, Williams, Van Lan Parra, Mooy, Ince, Depoitre.

Liverpool XI : Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Matip, Robertson, Can, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Coutinho.

Prediction

I don’t think Liverpool will have much trouble in seeing off Huddersfield Town. I expect Liverpool to win this game convincingly on Saturday afernoon. The scoreline could be four goals to nil.
