Liverpool look for three points at home against Burnley

Liverpool vs Burnley
Liverpool will play Burnley on Saturday in the Premier League
Liverpool will host Burnley on Saturday in the Premier League as the new season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for three points.

Kick-off : 2:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Anfield, Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s men will need to return to winning ways on Saturday if they aim to do well in the premier league. They had a game drawn against Sevilla in midweek in the Champions League.

Last weekend Liverpool were humbled 5-0 by Manchester City. Sadio mane was red carded in that game and it didn’t help their cause.

On the other hand, Burnley are seventh on the table after picking up a win away at Chelsea and drawing against Tottenham. The Clarets will be full of confidence as they travel to Liverpool.

It should be a good game between the two teams on Saturday as both of them will look to outdo each other.

Team news and possible line-ups

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has a few injury concerns. Tom Heaton, their no.1 goalkeeper is ruled out for months after dislocating his shoulder in the game against Crystal Palace.

As for Liverpool, The FA have rejected Liverpool’s appeal over the length of Sadio Mane’s suspenion, with the Senegalese set to miss the next three domestic games.

Klopp will likely call on Philippe Coutinho as the Brazilian bid to return to full fitness. While he will keep rotating his squad for Saturday’s game. So Loris Karius will make way for Simon Mignolet.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain might also be given a place in the starting XI as Klopp will shuffle his pack.

Burnley XI : Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward, Beg Gudmundsson, Cork, Defour, Brady, Wood, Vokes.

Liverpool XI : Mignolet, A. Arnold, Matip, Lovren, Moreno, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can, Henderson, Salah, Firmino, Coutinho.

Prediction

Considering Liverpool’s current form, I expect this game to be draw.
