Liverpool look for three points away against West Ham

Liverpool vs West Ham
Liverpool will play West Ham on Saturday in the Premier League
Liverpool is all set to play West Ham on Saturday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Reds go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 5:30 PM (Local)

Venue : London Stadium, London

Slaven Bilic is desperately in need of some points and Saturday seems to bring him another opportunity to do so.

Bilic’s side after loosing to Brighton 0-3 went on to defeat Tottenham 3-2 in the EFL Cup at Wembley.

They almost won against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace but unfortunately went on to draw that game.

The Hammers are now 16th in the table and await Liverpool. The Reds last time beat West Ham 4-0 when they visited London Stadium.

Liverpool and West Ham have so far played each other 135 times. Out of that Liverpool have won 71 games while West Ham have won 28 games. 36 games have ended in a draw.

But it should be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Michail Antonio will not available for West Ham against Liverpool as due to injury. While Pablo Zabaleta will not be available as well as he is suspended.

Jose Fonte and Aaron Cresswell will not be featuring in Saturday’s match as they are injured. But Winston Reid is available and might play against the Reds.

As for Liverpool, Giorginio Wijnaldum is doubtful for Saturday’s game against West Ham as due to injury.

West Ham XI : Hart, Fonte, Kouyate, Ogbonna, Reid, Fernandes, Lanzini, Noble, Cresswell, Ayew, Hernandez.

Liverpool XI : Mignolet, Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Moreno, Milner, Henderson, Can, Coutinho, Firmino, Salah.

Prediction

Although it’s not a given that Liverpool will win on Saturday night, they certainly go into this game as the favorites. I expect Liverpool to win 2-1 at the weekend.
