Liverpool will play Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday in 2019/20 Premier League as the tournament moves ahead. The Reds go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Anfield, Liverpool

Liverpool started off 2019/20 UCL campaign with a thumping loss away to Napoli which would have been shattering but they must move on. Winning is the way to go.

The Reds are in comfortable position in the Premier League where they have won every game they have played so far. They must take that form in European games.

Red Bull Salzburg should be a tricky game but Liverpool have all what it takes to win the game. Liverpool need to give due respect to the opponents and play their brand of football.

Keeping clean sheets is key to success and Jurgen Klopp would urge his players to keep a clean sheet in front of their own fans and be attack mined in the final third.

On the other hand, Red Bull have had a fantastic start to their 2019/20 Champions League campaign registering a convincing win over Genk. They will look to move positively forward ahead.

Red Bull are top of the group currently which contains the likes of Napoli and Liverpool. Next game should be a tough one though away to Liverpool.

If Red Bull have to take the three points from the game they need to be a slid unit at the back and beat Liverpool in scoring. Good luck to them.

Team news and possible line-ups

Haaland is doubtful for Red Bull Salzburg for the Liverpool game.

As for The Reds, Nathaniel Clyne will not be available as due to injury.

Red Bull Salzburg XI : Stankovic, Kristensen, Ramalho, Wober, Ulmer, Szoboszalai, Junuzovic, Mwepu, Minamino, Hwang, Koita.

Liverpool XI : Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Prediction

I expect Liverpool to win 3-1.
