Italy will play Finland on Saturday in UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifiers as both teams eye qualification. The Gli Azzurri go into this game as the favourite.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Stadio Friuli, Udine

Italy had a sad year 2018 as they missed out on qualification for 2018 FIFA World Cup which will be a bitter pill to swallow. Also struggled in the Nations League. But they will look to turn things around with qualification to next year’s Euro.

Gli Azzurri know they are champion material and just need to play their brand of football. Against Finland in the Euro qualifiers they will look to bring their A game into play and get all three points.

Italy also have Greece, Bosnia Herzegovina, Armenia and Liechtenstein in their group.

On the other hand, Finland had a good Nations league last year and they must now look to create history and secure qualification to a major footballing event, something which they have missed over the years.

Finland know it will be tough against Italy at their own backyard but Finland will look to play their best football and hoping for things to go their way.

Italy have a very good record against Finland and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Tim Sparv will captain Finland against Italy.

As for the Gli Azzurri, Federico Chiesa is doubtful for the weekend game.

Finland XI : Hradecky, Raitala, Toivio, Arajuuri, Uronen, Lod, Kamara, Sparv, Soiri, Pukki, Touminen.

Italy XI : Donnarumma, Piccini, Bonucci, Chiellini, Biraghi, Verratti, Jorginho, Barella, Bernardeschi, Immobile, Keane.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all but Italy should earn three points in the end. They might win 3-1. The goalscorers might be Bernardeschi, Immobile and Jorginho for Italy and Sparv for Finland.
