Gunners take on Liverpool at Anfield

Arsenal and Liverpool are set to meet each other on Sunday in the Premier League. The match will be played at Anfield.

Alexis Sanchez is set to make his first appearance of the season for Arsenal on Sunday. The forward was sidelined since his delayed return to the pre-season training due to abdominal injury.

His future with the club is speculated as this is his final contracted season with them. Although Wenger’s gonna have him in his scheme of things.

Liverpool on the other hand are dealing with Philippe Coutinho’s linkage to Barcelona. He is out injured but his future with the club remains uncertain.

The Reds have now qualified for the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League. Jurgen Klopp’s men played Hoffenheim in midweek and won to progress.

Last weekend Arsenal and Liverpool had different results as the Gunners lost to Stoke whereas the Reds won against Crystal Palace.

Team news and possible line-ups

Coutinho remains out injured for Liverpool, although he is set to join Brazil next week.

Klopp would hope Emre Can remains fit for Sunday’s game after sustaining minor injuries against Hofenheim.

Georginio Wijnaldum is set to return to England after the birth of his child in Holland.

Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne remain out injured.

As for Arsenal, Alexis Sanchez make a return for them and will play on Sunday. Laurent Koscielny also returns from a three match ban.

Arsene Wenger has a largely fit squad to choose from on Sunday.

Both teams didn’t had a perfect start so far to the season, so I think this will be a close game. I expect it to finish 1-1.
