England and Belgium aim top spot in Group G

England vs Belgium
England will play Belgium on Thursday night in their final group game of 2018 FIFA World Cup
England and Belgium are set to go head to head on Thursday night in their final group game of 2018 FIFA World Cup. Both teams will be looking for a win as they are eyeing top spot in Group G.

Kick-off : 9:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad

England have already qualified to the last 16 and a win on Thursday is what they need to boast their morals and to finish the group stage with 9 points out of 9. They will top the group which means an easier draw in the next round.

The Three Lions will have to play their best football and if they do I am sure they will get past Belgium who themselves are a classy side.

While The Red Devils too will be keen on getting a win and snatching top spot from England. They have got some quality players and are in form.

Although it will be a test against the former worlds champions but still they can upset them.

England have never lost to Belgium in the six games they have played with them thus far, winning two and drawing four.

Team news and possible line-ups

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez has said that he will rotate the squad for this game.

As for England, they too might be looking to rotate and it means they will rest a few of their key men here.

Belgium XI : Courtois, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Boyata, Meunier, Carrasco, Fellaini, De Bruyne, T. Hazard, Tielemans, Batshuayi.

England XI : Pickford, Walker, Stones, Cahill, Alexander-Arnold, Rose, Dier, Alli, Lingard, Rashford, Kane.

Prediction

I think it will be a closely fought game between two of the best sides in the group. I think the game will end in a 2-2 draw.
