Chelsea will look for three points away at Stoke

Chelsea vs Stoke City
Chelsea will play Stoke City on Saturday in the Premier League
Chelsea is all set to play Stoke on Saturday in the Premier League as the champions look for a win. The Blues are currently ranked third on the table.

Kick-off : 2:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Britannia Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent

The Blues will be looking to get back on track in terms of title hopes as they would want to overtake Man City and Man United.

Chelsea drew with Arsenal last weekend but it could have been a loss as well. This has build up a three point gap between them and their title rivals.

Stoke City have only beaten Chelsea twice in their history. The last eight encounters between Chelsea and the Potters have resulted in six losses for the latter.

Both teams rotated their squads for the EFL Cup in midweek, they will now recall their regulars for Saturday’s game.

Team news and possible line-ups

Ryan Shawcross and Geoff Cameron will not be available for Saturday’s game due to injury. But Stoke will have a full squad to choose from otherwise.

As for Chelsea, David Luiz is suspended and will be unavailable against Stoke. But Gary Cahill will make a return to the squad.

Eden Hazard is available and will likely start on Saturday. While Pedro is fit and will be available against Stoke City.

Stoke City XI : Butland, Wimmer, Shawcross, Martins Indi, Diouf, Fletcher, Allen, Pieters, Shaqiri, Jese, Choupo-Moting.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Rudiger, Moses, Kante, Bakayoko, Alonso, Pedro, Hazard, Morata.

Prediction

While it is not a given that Chelsea will win on Saturday but one would expect Chelsea to beat Stoke. Hazard is making a return for Chelsea and he will be their key man to score. I expect the Blues to defeat Stoke City three goals to nil on Saturday.
