Chelsea look for three points away against Brighton

Chelsea vs Brighton
Chelsea will play Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League
Chelsea are set to play Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Blues go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 12:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Amex Stadium, Falmer

Chelsea are currently on fourth in the table with 47 points from 23 games. They trail table toppers Man City by 15 points. They know they need to keep winning games for any hope of winning the league.

Chelsea drew with Leicester City last weekend and followed that up with a laboring way to qualify for next round of FA Cup. It will be a sterner test playing away against Brighton.

On the other hand, Brighton are currently on just 23 points from as many games. They are in the bottom half of the table. They need keep getting positive results to stay out of relegation zone.

Brighton lost last weekend to West Brom in the Premier League and will not be that confident taking on the title holders.

So far Chelsea and Brighton have played each other on nine occasions. Out of that the Blues have won seven times while Brighton have just won once, 1 other game have been a draw.

All in all it should be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Isaiah Brown and Steve Sidwell remain sidelined for Brighton ahead of Saturday’s game.

As for Chelsea, Gary Cahill, Cesc Fabregas and new signing Ross Barkley are doubtful for the weekend game.

While Pedro and Alvaro Morata will not be available as due to suspensions.

Brighton XI : Ryan, Bruno, Bong, Hunemeier, Dunk, Stephens, Kayal, Skalak, Knockaert, Baldock, Hemed.

Chelsea XI : Caballero, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Alonso, Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Kante, Moses, Bakayoko, Hazard, Batshuayi.

Prediction

I expect Chelsea to win the game 2-0.
