Chelsea will play Burnley on Monday in 2018/19 Premier League as the season nears it’s completion. The Blues go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Stamford Bridge, London

Chelsea after their success in 2018/19 UEFA Europa League will now be having all focus back on the Premier League. They are playing for a place in the top four and will have to play positive football.

The Blues are at present fifth in the points table after 34 games with 66 points. In Burnley they have got opponents against whom three points are their for the taking and Chelsea will play their brand of soccer.

Chelsea have their next three games against Manchester United, Eintracht Frankfurt and Watford across the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League respectively.

On the other hand, Burnley have done enough this season to ensure they remain in the top flight for the next season. But they would wanna ensure quality football as we approach the end of 2018/19 season.

Burnley are currently fifteenth in the points table after 34 games with 39 points. Against Chelsea they will have to play their best football giving their all and hoping for the best.

Chelsea have a good record against Burnley and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Peter Crouch, Steven Defour and Aaron Lennon will all be not available for Burnley for the Chelsea game as due to injuries.

As for The Blues, Ethan Ampadu will be unavailable as due to injury.

Burnley XI : Heaton, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Hendrick, Westwood, Cork, McNeil, Barnes, Wood.

Chelsea XI : Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, D. Luiz, Emerson, Jorginho, Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Higuain, Hazard.

Prediction

I expect Chelsea to dominate this game and win it in the end. They might win 3-0.
