Barcelona eye first points

Barcelona will host Real Betis on Sunday in 2019/20 La Liga season as they eye first points of the season. Barca go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 9:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Camp Nou, Barcelona

Barcelona after a rough time against Athletic Club will look to turn around their fortunes as they play in front of their home crowd. They need to play their brand of football.

Barca are at the moment eighteenth in the points table after playing one game with 0 points to their name.

Playing Real Betis at home shouldn’t be that difficult a task but they should look at their opponents carefully, giving them due respect and in the process winning the game to earn the three points.

Barcelona must be good in the final third which cost them the game in their first game of the season. While Barcelona needs to keep a clean sheet.

On the other hand, Real Betis must be in a setback mood after suffering an awful home defeat at the hands of Valladolid. They need to get back on track themselves.

Los Verdiblancos know Barcelona are tough opponents and getting a draw at Camp Nou should be a difficult task so they will set small targets in the game.

Getting a point from the game should be their main goal and to achieve that they need to play quality football. Midfield game is always important against Barcelona.

Barcelona have a good record against Real Betis and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Joel Robles will not be available for Real Betis for the Barcelona game as due to suspension. While Iglesias is a doubt.

As for Barca, Lionel Messi is doubtful.

Real Betis XI : Martin, Alfonso, Mandi, Bartra, Emerson, Carvalho, Garcia, Fekir, Tello, Joaquin, Moron.

Barcelona XI : Ter Stegen, Semedo, Lenglet, Pique, Alba, Rakitic, De Jong, Busquets, Griezmann, Messi, Rafinha.

Prediction

I expect Barcelona to win this home fixture to get their campaign up and running.
