Arsenal will play Newcastle on Monday in the Premier League
Arsenal will play Newcastle on Monday in 2018/19 Premier League as the season nears it’s completion. The Gunners go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 7:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Emirates Stadium, London

Arsenal have a good chance of cementing their Champions League spot for next term as if they win against Newcastle they will be two points clear off Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur at the third spot, also three points clear off Chelsea.

But they need to play quality football. They need to play their brand of football. They will be happy with their progression in the Europa League.

Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League points table after 30 games with 60 points. In Newcastle they have got opponents against whom three points are a good possibility and The Gunners will do all they can.

On the other hand, Newcastle themselves have done enough to ensure next season in the top flight. But they certainly needs to improve and gotta play positive football.

The Magpies are at present fourteenth in the points table after 31 games with 35 points. Against Arsenal away they will need to give their all hoping for the best.

Arsenal have a good record against Newcastle and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Robert Elliot and Sean Longstaff will both be unavailable for Newcastle for the Arsenal game as due to injuries.

As for The Gunners, Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck will all be unavailable as due to injuries.

Newcastle XI : Dubravka, Yedlin, Lejeune, Fernandez, Dummett, Ritchie, Perez, Diame, Hayden, Almiron, Rondon.

Arsenal XI : Leno, Maitland-Niles, Koscielny, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Guendouzi, Xhaka, Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Prediction

I expect The Gunners to win this game easily 3-1 taking all three points.
