Arsenal are set to play Bournemouth on Wednesday in 2018/19 Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Gunners go into this game as the favourites.

Arsenal will be very happy with their victory over Southampton on Sunday but know their is a lot of work to be done if they hope to finish higher this season.

The Gunners are currently fourth in the points table after 27 games with 53 points. In Bournemouth they have got opponents which are good but Arsenal know that three more points are their for the taking.

Arsenal have their next three games against Tottenham Hotspur, Rennes and Manchester United across the Premier League and Europa League respectively.

On the other hand, Bournemouth are doing OK in 2018/19 Premier League but will hope to do more to finish as best as they can.

Bournemouth are at present tenth in the points table after 27 games with 34 points. Against Arsenal they will look to give their all and hope for the best.

Arsenal have a good record against Bournemouth and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Jefferson Lerma will not be available for Bournemouth for the Arsenal game as due to suspension. While Lewis Cook, Simon Francis, Callum Wilson and David Brooks will be all unavailable as due to injuries.

As for The Gunners, Alex Iwobi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Stephen Lichsteiner are all doubtful for the midweek game.

Bournemouth XI : Boruc, Clyne, Mepham, Ake, Rico, Abe, Gosling, Surman, Fraser, King, Mousset.

Arsenal XI : Leno, Maitland-Niles, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Torreira, Guendouzi, Suarez, Ozil, Iwobi, Aubameyang.

Prediction

It should be good game as both teams will give their all but in the end I expect Arsenal to get the job done and earn three points. They might win 3-1.
