The game no. 3 of IPL 2023 on double-header Saturday sees Lucknow Super Giants in action against the Delhi Capitals as the season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Date & Time : 1st April 2023, 7:30 PM IST

Venue : Ekana Sports City, Lucknow

Lucknow Super Giants were good in their debut season and will look to go one step further to clinch the title. They will have to play their brand of cricket.

Batting wise they have a good lineup and only execution is needed. Bowling terms they can be very accurate.

Head coach Andy Flower will have the template ready and the execution is needed.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals were not that good last season and they will really be hoping for their maiden title win.

This season they will have the resources to have it big and the real success depends on it. In both the batting and bowling departments they will require to be clinical.

Coach Ricky Ponting and his men will have to be good tactical.

For the wicket, it will be a good surface for both batters and bowlers.

Team news and possible lineups

Mohsin Khan won’t be available for Lucknow Super Giants as due to injury.

LSG XI : Pooran, Hooda, Mayers, KL Rahul (C), K. Pandya, Stoinis, Badoni, A. Khan, Wood, Bishnoi, J. Unadkat.

Prediction

It should be a good contest as both sides will look to give their all. Toss again will play a crucial role for both teams. In the end I think the better team who commits less mistakes will win the game.
