Tata IPL 2022 – KKR vs SRH, match preview, predicted lineups

RCB vs PBKS
Match no. 61 of IPL 2022 between KKR and SRH takes place today

Kolkata Knight Riders play Sunrisers Hyderabad for the second time in Tata IPL 2022 as the season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Date & Time : 14th May 2022, 7:30 PM IST

Venue : MCA Stadium, Pune

Kolkata Knight Riders after the hiccups they have got later in the tournament are in a must-win territory now. If they don’t win they don’t qualify for the playoffs.

KKR are currently eighth in the points table after 12 games with 10 points.

Kolkata have made quite a few changes throughout this tournament in their playing XIs and won’t be a surprise if they make a few for this game. But they must bat well to post totals and should be able to bowl well to win games.

KKR have so far won against, CSK, PBKS, MI (2) & RR. They have lost to RCB, DC (2), SRH, RR, GT & LSG.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad too are getting in the must-win territory and they must win in order to ensure qualification to the playoffs. They have been ok in the tournament thus far.

SRH are currently seventh in the points table after 11 games and 10 points.

Hyderabad will need to set a high total given the quality of their batters while in terms of bowling they will have the luxury of good pacers and they need to come good.

SRH have won their games against, CSK, MI, KKR, PBKS & RCB. They have lost to RR, LSG, GT, CSK, DC & RCB.

In terms of the head to head, Kolkata are ahead 14-8 to SRH out of the 22 matches played between the two.

For the wicket, it will support the batsman with good ball bowlers reaping rewards.

There are no fresh injury concerns for both sides at the moment.
