SRH vs PBKS
Match no. 71 of IPL 2022 between GT and RR takes place today

Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals will go head to head in qualifier 1 of Tata IPL 2022 as the season nears it’s conclusion. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Date & Time : 24th May 2022, 7:30 PM IST

Venue : Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Gujarat Titans have been the no. 1 team thus far in this year’s IPL and will now look to win another game to reach the final. They will have to play quality cricket.

The Gujarat team are playing the IPL for the first time and to reach this far, they have done well but now the real cricket begins and they must get over the line.

GT have good batters throughout there lineup and if any one of them clicks on the night we can expect a big total. Bowling wise they have Rashid, Shami, two very reliable options plus a good overall unit. They must be confident.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals too have been among the best this IPL and will look to win another one and then win their IPL title number 2. They will look to play their brand of cricket.

RR have done it in the past and this is nothing new for them, this stage. They are the only team in the last four to have won a title, rest three have never won and are inexperienced. Rajasthan should take advantage of this.

Rajasthan batting is a solid one here with the likes of Jos Buttler in-form in plus the captain himself. They will just need to make sure they put runs on board. In terms of bowling two Indian legend spinners in Ravi Ashwin and Chahal are there. Three good pacers as well.

Head to head wise, this is just the second meeting between the two franchisees. The first game was won by Gujarat.

As for the wicket, it will be a good one for batting while good bowlers might be able to get some rewards.
