Real Madrid eye semi-final berth against Juventus in Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg

Real Madrid vs Juventus
Real Madrid will play Juventus on Wednesday night in the Champions League
Real Madrid are set to play Juventus on Wednesday night in 2017/18 Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg at home. Real Madrid go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid

Real Madrid has have had a mixed last week as on last Tuesday they defeated Juventus away but followed it with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid at home. They would like to replicate the performance in Turin tomorrow in Wednesday night’s game.

Real Madrid have high hopes of winning this season’s UEFA Champions League and making it a hat-trick of UCL trophies. This tournament becomes even more important as Los Blancos are not going to win the La Liga this season.

On the other hand, Juventus will have to overturn the 0-3 deficit against Real if they hope to progress to the semi’s. This looks extremely tough considering they’ll play away from home.

By the way Juve are on their way to winning Serie A this season. But it’s the Champions League that they too wanna win.

All in all it should be a good game on Wednesday night as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Paulo Dybala and Rodrigo Bentacur will both be unavailable for Juve for the midweek game as due to suspension. While Andrea Barzagli and Federico Bernardeschi are both doubts.

As for Real Madrid, they will be without Sergio Ramos who his suspended for this game.

Juventus XI : Buffon, De Sciglio, Benatia, Chiellini, A. Sandro, Khedira, Pjanic, Cuadrado, Costa, Mandzukic, Higuain.

Real Madrid XI : Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Vallejo, Marcelo, Modric, Casemiro, Kroos, Isco, Ronaldo, Benzema.

Prediction

I think Real Madrid are gonna win this game and easily progress through to the semi’s. The scoreline on the night could be 3-1.
