Manchester United will play Arsenal on Monday in 2019/20 Premier League as the season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Old Trafford, Manchester

Manchester United defeated Rochdale last Wednesday in the Carabao Cup and they must be in a confident mood. Arsenal at home should be a classic game.

The Red Devils are currently 11th in the points table after six games with eight points. The goal difference is +2.

Arsenal game is a must win to climb up in the table. For that they will need to play to their strengths against the rivals.

Arsenal shouldn’t be given much space in the middle of the park as they might create dangerous chances. So United need to play well collectively.

On the other hand, Arsenal too won in fashion last Tuesday in the Carabao Cup thrashing Nottingham Forest 5-0 to progress. The focus now shifts to the Manchester United game.

The Gunners are currently 8th in the points table after six games 11 points. The goal difference is +1.

Arsenal know it will be tough to play rivals Manchester United at their own backyard but they must give their absolute all for three points.

Arsenal will have a game plan and they will hope to execute with their players having a good outing. Arsenal have talented individuals in defence, midfield and attack. All the best to them.

Manchester United are ahead against Arsenal in terms of the head to head and they will take heart from the fact.

Team news and possible line-ups

Alexandre Lacazette will not be available for Arsenal for the Manchester United game as due to injury.

As for The Red Devils, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw will all be unavailable as due to injuries. While Paul Pogba is a doubt.

Arsenal XI : Leno, Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Luiz, Kolasinac, Willock, Guendouzi, Ceballos, Saka, Pepe, Aubameyang.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Young, McTominay, Matic, Pogba, James, Mata, Greenwood.

Prediction

Manchester United haven’t lost at home to Arsenal since September 2006 and I expect the record to be intact with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.
