India vs Australia
India will play Australia in the first Test match starting from Thursday
India and Australia are set to play each other in the First Test match starting from tomorrow as the tour moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win.

Date and Time : 6-10 Dec 2018, 5:30 AM IST

Venue : Adelaide Oval, Adelaide

Team India did well in the T20I series but the real test begins now as the Tests begin. It’s a long series and team will have to maintain their form.

The Batsman will have to score enough runs and the bowlers will have to be at their very best. They know it’s not going to be easy but they will have to maintain their standard.

On the other hand, Australia will be disappointed that they couldn’t win the T20I series but will now have to focus on the Tests.

They might have the home advantage but they know they can’t take India lightly and hence will have to play top quality cricket.

Their batsman and the bowlers are quite efficient and will be required to do the job.

Australia have a good record against India in Test matches and India will have to do a lot to match them.

Team news and possible line-ups

Tim Paine will captain Australia in the first Test match.

As for India, Ishant Sharma is available and will likely play tomorrow.

Australia XI : T. Paine (C&WK), A. Finch, M. Harris, U. Khawaja, S. Marsh, T. Head, P. Handscomb, P. Cummins, M. Starc, J. Hazlewood, N. Lyon.

India XI : V. Kohli (C), M. Vijay, KL Rahul, C. Pujara, A. Rahane, H. Vihari, R. Pant (WK), R. Ashwin, M. Shami, J. Bumrah, I. Sharma.

Prediction

It’s tough to predict the outcome of this match, may the best team which played best cricket throughout the course of five days win.
