Jersey cricket team were fabulous in their 50-over qualification cycle for the 2023 World Cup where they played their first One-day Internationals. Although they now doesn’t have their ODI status any more. So they should be confident in the 20-over format.

Their first match will be against the Austrian team in their European qualifiers for next years’ World Cup in the West Indies and the USA. They will look to give their all in a tournament which also have the likes of Ireland and Scotland and in all 7 teams.

Batting wise Jersey will look to be solid with their unit and on the bowling front they require more precision. Their coach Neil MacRae and captain Perchard will have to execute the strategy.

On the other hand, Austria are new to this scene and being there would be a good sign for their cricket to really come up. They know they have it against them with only two spots left to qualify but they can give their all.

Head coach Cookie Patel and his men will have to be tactical.

For the wicket, batsman can score with initial in it for bowlers.
