Barcelona drew with Real Madrid yesterday in La Liga
Barcelona yesterday played out a 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in La Liga. The El Clasico was marred with controversy.

Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi were the goal scorers for Barca while Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo were the goal scorers for Real Madrid.

The game earlier started with a lot of sportsmanship and it looked like we will have one of the unique clasico’s. But as it is now it ended in controversy.

As it happened Luis Suarez opened the scoring for Barca in the 10th minute with a brilliant pass from Sergi Roberto.

But joy was shortlived in the Nou Camp as Cristiano Ronaldo equalised four minutes later in the 14th minute to make the scoreline 1-1 on the night. But in the process he twisted his ankle and was later taken off at half time.

Their were confrontations in the game as between Jordi Alba and Luka Modric, Luis Suarez and Sergio Ramos. In fact Messi also took a yellow card for the team. Later at the the stroke of half time Sergi Roberto was red carded for his offense on Marcelo.

These all still the game was in balance as soon Leo Messi put Barca ahead in the game as him from a pass of Suarez showed why he is the number one player in the world.

Their was still one twist in the game as Gareth Bale later scored in the 72nd minute and the game was again in balance.

This game had everything in it as twice Barcelona led and twice Madrid equalised. Still their was time for a winner.

When it was near the end Marcelo was down in the barca area and many question if it was a penalty.

But as it is it finished a 2-2 draw in the end.
